Carousel Theatre in Indianola is beginning their next performance later this week, Death of a Salesman. Alex Lindsley with Carousel Theatre tells KNIA News Death of a Salesman is a classic broadway show that has been around for generations, yet still resonates today, and provides a great challenge for the cast and crew.

“It’s a heavy story. What we are kind of looking for is to show that we can do great theater both in a musical, broadway, over the top with all the rhinestones and glitter, but we can also really pare it down. We can do something really strong and gritty and serious, with rooted, grounded characters. I’m really excited to be able to show that we’ve got such a broad range, and bring a classic back into the rotation of the more modern shows that Carousel has been doing lately.”
