Norwalk sophomore Teegan Kralik and junior Tony Anania both ran fourth-place times in the distance events to lead the Warrior boys track team at Monday’s Dickinson Relays. The season-opening indoor meet was held at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
Kralik placed fourth in the 3,200-meter run in 9:57.09 and Anania took fourth in the 1,600 with a time of 4:23.3. Senior Henry Groos added a 10th-place time of 4:33.22 in the mile.
Additional Norwalk athletes placing in the top 20 on Monday included Grant Wallace (15th in the mile), Kaiden Kunze (17th in the 400), Sam Parker (19th in the 3,200) and Logan Atherton (19th in the high jump).
The Norwalk boys will compete in another indoor meet at Iowa State University on Thursday. The Norwalk girls will open their indoor season at Iowa State on Friday.
