The Central College men’s and women’s track and field squads had 14 members recognized as All-Midwest Region performers for the indoor season by the USTFCCCA Tuesday.

To be named All-Region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top five of an individual event in the region or be part of a top-three relay team.

Caroline McMartin and Megan Johnson were all-region performers in the mile, 3000 meters and 5000 meters. McMartin also earned the honor in the 800 meters, while Johnson was a part of the distance medley relay squad that was recognized. Addison Parrott, Abbi Roerdink, and Peyton Steffen joined Johnson on the distance medley relay team. Roerdink doubled in the 400 meters and Steffen was also an honoree in the mile. Sophomore Olivia Bohlen was honored in the pentathlon.

Noah Jorgenson was all-region in the 800 meters, mile and distance medley relay. Adam Sylvia was also an all-region performer in the mile and with the distance medley relay team. Noah Erickson and Jack Brown rounded out the distance medley relay group. In the heptathlon, Gage Huyser and Gavin Smith were both recognized. Gunner Meyer in the high jump and Kale Purcell in the triple jump round out the men’s all-region honorees.
