An idea that started a year ago has turned into a tool to connect youth in the community with others in need. Crossroads of Pella is hosting their next Playdate to do Good Things on Monday at 10 a.m. in the Pella Community Center. Associate Director Chris Allen says the project has given families a project to do that is fun and also helps others — and next week, the group will be making parakeets and sharing those with local retirees.
