The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in a regular session and a work session Tuesday evening.

The board approved appointments to various boards and commissions including Board of Adjustment, Historic Preservation Commission, Veteran Affairs Commission, Weed Commissioner, and Zoning Commission.

The board approved the 2023 CLG annual report, an interfund operating transfer to Warren County Conservation for $50k, and FY25 DCAT Contracts. The board also heard a multitude of public comments regarding the upcoming budget planning, referring to keeping the Warren County Congregate Meal Sites. Meal Sites are available Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and meals are served at 11:00 am in Carlisle and Indianola, and meals delivered in various communities throughout the county to those 60 and up.

The board then met in a work session to discuss the budget for the Warren County Fair and Zoning Department, then received a budget overview presentation.
