The Pella School Board will review the annual teacher salary settlement and establish increases for staff at their meeting this evening.
The board will consider a 2.69% increase for teachers and a range of pay bumps for hourly staff. Additionally, the board will review additional vacation days for administrators, who were voted to have a pay freeze as part of the budget reduction process, and consider extending Superintendent Greg Ebeling’s contract through 2026. The new contract will include language that makes Ebeling eligible for retirement benefits starting in July of 2026.
The Pella School Board meeting is being held this evening instead of during its regularly scheduled time, which falls during spring break, and begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Pella High School Library and can be viewed online.
