An unblemished weekend for Central College men’s tennis sophomore Alex Slaymaker helped him earn the American Rivers Conference Men’s Tennis Performer of the Week.

Slaymaker was 6-0 in Central’s three dual matches over the weekend. He helped Central pick up their first two dual wins of the season, beating Greenville University (Ill.) and Cornell College 5-4 on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. He played No. 6 singles and No. 2 doubles with partner Ayden Fletcher in three of Central’s four matches over the weekend.

The Dutch travel to Grinnell College for a 1 p.m. match Saturday.
