The PCM boys track and field team placed sixth at the IATC Indoor Championships in Ames Thursday, with the shuttle hurdle relay team taking first.

The defending state champion shuttle hurdle team with three returning members including Griffin Olson, Gavin Van Gorp, and Adrien Robbins were joined by Jaden Houser to take first with a time of 34.45. Evan Jones placed seventh in the 60 meter, and Griffin Olson placed seventh in the 60 meter hurdles. Jones also placed tenth in the 200 meter while Gavin Van Gorp was third in the long jump. Chase Wagaman placed tenth in the high jump, the 4X400 meter relay placed tenth, the 4X800 meter relay placed eighth, and the 4X100 meter placed ninth. 

The PCM girls track and field team will compete at the same meet today.
