While warmer weather has been good for two of the ongoing construction projects in the Pella Community School District, a redesign will potentially have significant delays on another. Pella Schools Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the connection project between Jefferson Intermediate and Pella Middle School remains mainly on track, as does the soon-to-be completed Viersen Early Learning Center. However, the discovery of a previously unlocated water pipe has forced the redesign of the grandstands at the football stadium, which could mean additional months of waiting for their arrival. Ebeling is still hopeful for a fall completion, but it may be approaching much later in the season than previously hoped.
