Knoxville thrower Ciara Heffron looks to already be in top form as she placed 2nd throwing 36-10.75 in class 3A at the Iowa Track Coaches Association Indoor meet in Ames on Friday. Heffron, who finished 3rd at the Drake Relays and 2nd at the State Meet last season throwing the discus now has the shot put as well. She followed up with an 11th place finish at the UNI Dickinson Relays earlier this week. Also in action for the Panthers was the 4×100 meter relay team of Reece Spaur, Cally Landis, Payton Kearney, and Siena Scott placed 23rd in class 3A with a time of :58.45. Knoxville is on spring break next week and will take select team members to the Simpson Meet on March 19th.
