There are two main goals for the Knoxville Boys Track and Field Squad this spring as the early workouts begin in anticipation of the season starting up in late March. One is to win a 3rd straight South Central Conference title, something that the seniors on the team list as very important, and the other is to be in top form by May so many of them can return to the Blue Oval where they had mixed success last season. Two of the seniors that want to cap their careers in grand style are Hayden Willoughby and Austin Washington at both the conference and state meet.

Hayden: “We going to keep pushing and we have Koby, Austin and other guys to get better every day.”
Austin: “I feel like I just want a better time if I go to state this year.”

The Panthers are scheduled to attend an indoor meet at Central College on March 15th. The outdoor portion of the season is set to get underway on March 26th in the Pella Christian Early Bird Meet.
