The Indianola girls track team has high hopes for the season after they bring back a multitude of state track and field experience from last year, and that talent is buoyed by a group of younger athletes.

The Indians have already seen top results from freshman Madison Grover in the High Jump and Alexa Guyer in several relay teams, and head coach Morgan Singleton tells KNIA Sports the team has continued to grow and there is great balance between the more experienced athletes and the newcomers, which makes for a great environment.

The Indians placed 2nd at the IATC Indoor Meet on Friday in class 4A.
