While a mainly dry and warm day is expected for most of today, a few rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to begin late tonight and continue periodically through Thursday evening.
Severe storms are possible during that timeframe, with hail and damaging wind the main hazards, especially on Thursday as a cold front is expected to move in. Highs in the mid-to-upper 50s start Thursday and continue through Saturday before a brief cooldown, according to the National Weather Service.
The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team is on the air for any severe thunderstorm or tornado warning for Marion and Warren Counties.
