The Knoxville Public Library will be holding two events today.

The first event will be a game/chess day for kids second grade and up. This will go from 10:30 am-Noon and it allows students who are off school during spring break to play games with others in the community. All kids are encouraged to bring a friend. The second event is a “slow looking” art program with Jan Evans. This event starts at 6:00 pm and will be an evening of conversation and community as participants learn about the “slow looking” approach to understanding and appreciating art. Light refreshments will be served. Both of these library events are free and open to the public.
