Elevated fire conditions are expected on Saturday. According to the National Weather Service, breezy northwest winds, temperatures in the 50s and relative humidity values dropping toward 30 percent are the cause. While recent rain has helped provide some moisture, sunny conditions and increasing winds into Saturday will push dry fuels to elevated fire conditions returning by midday tomorrow. Use caution if you are burning this weekend and make note of any burn bans for your county. Locally, there is no ban in place in Marion County.
