After a 7-1 week in Arizona, the Central College softball team is No. 24 in the NFCA Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll.

The Dutch moved to 10-5 after competing in the Tucson Invitational Games last week. Defending champion Trine University (Ind.) remains a unanimous choice at No. 1 with a 16-1 record. Central is the only American Rivers Conference team listed in the poll, but Nebraska Wesleyan University is among schools receiving votes.

Central opens its home slate at 2 pm today against St. Olaf College (Minn.) at the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex softball field.
