The Knoxville Girls tennis Squad did not have any seniors on the team last season so everyone is back that played varsity along with a few new additions. Coach Nick DeMoss welcomes back his #1 singles player Janie Maasdam, also Kate Schneider, Natalie Collins, Iselyn Prevo, Maddy Wells, and Makenzie Karr all return. DeMoss says those along with a few others could add a lot of depth to his team.

DeMoss: “We didn’t have any seniors last year, so we return just about everybody, and we have a few new additions this year, so I’m excited to see what we can do in the South Central Conference.”

Among some new players this season are junior Hannah Dunkin, who is dual sporting in track and field and tennis. DeMoss says with Dunkin’s athletic ability she could make a run at a varsity spot. Also Bridgette Liston will also be a part of those looking to get on a varsity spot. The Panthers will get their season started on April 2nd at home against Southeast Polk.
