More depth at the field events for the Melcher-Dallas Girls Track and Field Squad may add to points this season. While Gabby Overgaard is the Saints #1 thrower in the shot put and discus, Coach Amy Stuart tells KNIA Sports high jump, long jump, and the throwing events should be well covered.

Stuart: “About midseason we had Maddy DeJong doing high jump, and then we had Sadie and Kennedy in other events and Jenna Mickey in some of the field events as well.”
