The candidate filing deadline for the Marion County Primary Elections passed Friday.
Those who filed for the 2024 Primary are:
James Muller (R) – Board of Supervisors
Steve McCombs (R) – Board of Supervisors
Mark Raymie (R) – Board of Supervisors
Kacie Nicholson (D) – Board of Supervisors
Jason Sandholdt (R) – Sheriff
Jake Grandia (R) – Auditor
Jared Harmon (R) – Attorney (To Fill Vacancy)
The Board of Supervisors candidates are running to fill two seats total. Marion County Deputy Auditor Dani Graves wants to remind voters that party affiliation matters when it comes to primary elections.
“Only voters who are registered with the Democratic, Libertarian, or Republican parties, or people who declare their affiliation with a party when casting a ballot are allowed to vote in a primary election.”
The date for the 2024 Primary Election is June 4th.
