The Pleasantville boys golf team will kick off their season on April 1st.

The Trojan boys had a strong season last year finishing third in their sectional meet hosted by Pella Christian and advancing to district play. Pleasantville fell short of a trip to state after finishing eight at the district meet hosted by Mediapolis. The Trojans three captains this season are senior Ryder Thill, senior Jaxx Lovell, and sophomore Lincoln Card who were all key contributors last season. Pleasantville Boys Golf Coach Chuck Sinclair says the first week of the season will be a good test for his team.

“I’m excited to get going. Our first meet is April 1st at Woodward. That will be a conference meet. Later that week we will jump right out to Knoxville, one of the better teams in the state to play them and Carlisle. That first week will be a good test to see where we are.”

The Pleasantville boys have 11 total meets this season.
