The City of Knoxville is holding a free leaf and yard waste collection day on April 20th and 21st. 

The collection will be held at the Knoxville Street Shop located at 309 W. Reno St. The collection times are from 9:00 am-1:00 pm on the 20th, and Noon-4:00 pm on the 21st. Only regular residential yard waste will be accepted including twigs, shrubbery, branches, leaves, and tree trimmings. Limbs must be 3 feet or less and dirt, rock, gravel, litter, and tree stumps won’t be accepted. Knoxville City Manger Heather Ussery says this event will be able to help the residents of Knoxville.

“The City is trying to help residents in supplying them with a location for disposal of their yard waste. That will also be included in the water bill and more information will be on the flier but that will be held April 20th and 21st at the Street Shop.”

Leaves must be placed in paper lawn bags.
