The Pella Christian girls soccer team kicks off their 2023-2024 campaign tonight, as they travel to square off with Ottumwa. 

Today’s meeting between Eagles and Bulldogs is the sixth dating back to 2017 and marks the third straight season the two squads have opened the season against one another. Pella Christian has dominated the series in the previous matchups, winning all five contests by a combined score of 27-4. 

The Eagles girls soccer squad’s opener is now the only event on the schedule for today, as weather conditions impacted the tennis and track and field teams. The Eagles boys and girls tennis matches against Grinnell have been rescheduled to Monday, April 1st. The Pella Christian boys track and field team’s Early Bird meet and the girls squad’s competition at Davis County were canceled. 

The Eagles girls soccer team’s season opener tonight at Ottumwa is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm.
