Pella Christian Athletic Director Dan Branderhorst announced Thursday afternoon that Mindi Kacmarynski will be the new head coach of the Eagles softball program.

Mindi, who was recently hired as a third grade teacher at Pella Christian Grade School, has decades of coaching experience with softball, track and field, volleyball, and basketball. Prior to accepting the head coach position with the Eagles, she had previously served as the varsity softball coach at Audubon and North Mahaska and also played for two National Championship softball teams at Central College.

Mindi takes over a Pella Christian program that went 10-28 overall and 3-18 in the Little Hawkeye Conference last summer.
