Several county crews responded to a rural Knoxville structure fire Thursday evening.

At 5:48 pm Thursday, owners of the property located at 1052 Lisbon Dr. west of Knoxville called 911 after neighbors informed them that their barn was on fire. Shortly after, several Marion County agencies were dispatched to the property and arrived on scene to find a barn and shed fully engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished, but the barn and shed are considered a total loss. The shed contained a tractor, lawn mower, four wheeler, and other miscellaneous tools and equipment. Nobody was injured and the home and vehicles were not affected by the fire. 

Responding agencies include Pleasantville Fire, Knoxville Rural Fire, Knoxville Fire, Marion County Sheriff, Indiana Township Fire, and Marion County EMS.
