Another trio of Pella High School athletes are moving on to the next level to compete. State wrestling qualifiers Jackson Van Kley, Damion Clark, and Noah Parsons all participated in a signing event Wednesday afternoon.
—
Van Kley is heading to West Point to continue wrestling and serve in the U.S. Army, a decision he says was made after a visit to their campus.
—
Clark will stay close to home and continue wrestling for Central College, and despite the impending departure of Head Coach Eric Van Kley due to an administrative promotion, Damion is still excited about what the program in his hometown offers.
—
Parsons will play football for the red and white of the Central Dutch this fall. Noah, who was also a state wrestling qualifier, said he ultimately landed on the gridiron as his sport of choice after a successful fall campaign and his role in getting the Pella Dutch back to the playoffs.
