PCM Soccer Falls to Pella Christian

The PCM soccer team fell to Pella Christian Thursday 4-0 to fall to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Perry.

PCM Girls Golf Finishes Second at Lynnville-Sully in Season Opener

The PCM girls golf team finished second at their season opener Thursday at Diamond Trail Golf Club in Lynnville. 

The Mustangs scored 219 as a team in the 9-hole event as they competed alongside Pella, Lynnville-Sully, and Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont. Gretchen Uitermarkt finished third overall shooting a 50, while Emilyn David finished fifth overall shooting a 54. Brelee Berger finished tied for sixth with a 55, Meredith Chips was tied for 12th with a 60, and Seriah Nolin was 27th shooting a 74.

The Mustang girls will next compete on Tuesday at home. 

PCM Boys Track and Field Competed at Roland-Story Thursday

The PCM boys track and field team competed at Roland-Story Thursday night.

The Mustangs finished fourth and scored 54 team points. Griffin Olson placed first in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.73, and the 800 sprint medley finished first with a time of 1:39.45. Chase Wagaman had a second place finish in the high jump with a jump of 5 foot 8 inches, and Mark Bussan placed second in the shot put with a throw of 46 feet 4 inches.
