Girls Soccer: Norwalk 6, Bondurant-Farrar 0
Ranked fourth in Class 2A, the Warrior girls soccer team improved to 2-0 with a dominating 6-0 victory at Bondurant-Farrar. Norwalk led 4-0 at halftime and played even better in the second half, according to coach Andrew Messer.
“Even though we didn’t score more goals in the second half, we made some great adjustments, increased our possession and limited unnecessary risks,” Messer said. “I am feeling really good about the team going into next week.”
Reese Trebilcock scored two goals for Norwalk and Addy Wood, Karina Garcia, Braelyn Clark and Anna Larson all scored once. Clark added two assists; Wood and Alayna O’Connor had one apiece. The Warriors open conference play at 2A third-ranked Pella on Tuesday night.
