The Norwalk girls golf team is scheduled to open their season in Monday’s Waukee Northwest Invitational, which will be held at Norwalk’s Legacy Golf Club. Tee time is 11:00 a.m., weather permitting. The Warriors will be competing against Waukee Northwest, Ankeny, Dallas Center-Grimes and Waukee.

Norwalk returns five out of six varsity golfers from the end of last season in senior Calissa O’Connor, juniors Ava Garvey, Lydia Krueger and Allie Soukup, and sophomore Addie Smith. Monday marks the first of 10 18-hole tournaments on the Warriors’ 2024 schedule.
