The Knoxville City Council will meet in a special session and a regular session tonight.
The special session will consist of a public hearing regarding setting property tax levies for the fiscal year 2025 budget. On the agenda for the regular meeting is a resolution to approve an application from Weiler for the Iowa Economic Development Authority High Quality Jobs Program, public hearings and potential action regarding the Library Park Project and disposal in an interest in real property, and a resolution to approve a letter of support and a development agreement between the city and Overland Land Group, LLC. Also on the agenda is approving a gift agreement between the city and the Knoxville Community School District, a VA Development update, and approval of framework for the 2024 facade grant program.
Tonight’s Knoxville City Council special session meeting will start at 6:00 pm with the regular session to follow.
