Pella Regional Health Center has announced that Hannah Nicholson, a Patient Care Technician in the Medical Surgical Unit, is the first quarter ROSE award recipient. She was nominated by a coworker for her high performance standards and compassionate care. 

Excerpt from her nomination:

“Hannah is always ready to jump in and help.  She goes above and beyond for patients and co-workers.  She helps and makes it a fun and exciting environment, and I have never laughed more than with Hannah at work.  She slows down and takes the time to listen and talk with the patients, and the patients seem to be so happy when they have Hannah as their tech.”

The ROSE Award is a rewards program for Patient Care Technicians. ROSE is an acronym for Recognition Of Service Excellence. Recipients of the ROSE award demonstrate excellence through their compassionate care, outstanding communication skills and clinical expertise.
