Three Indianola spring sports teams were in action on Monday, including boys and girls tennis and girls golf.

The girls golf team got their season started at Briarwood Golf Course in Ankeny, finishing 6th out of 12 teams shooting a 396. The Indians were led by Amelia Moorlach shooting a 92, Alexa Inman carded a 99, Abbie Corbett shot an even 100, and Reese Lucas carded a 105. The Indians next hit the links this afternoon at Willow Links Golf Course in West Des Moines.

The Indians boys tennis swept Knoxville 9-0. The Indians all won in straight sets, with Michael Rothchild, Erik Jensen, Bryson Rehmeier, Justus Woell, and Nate Winjum winning in singles play, while the duos of Rothchild/Rehmeier, Jensen and Winjum, and Seb Cooper/Eli Chadwick all won. The boys return to Little Hawkeye Conference action today at Oskaloosa.

The Indians girls hosted a triangular at home, defeating Des Moines Lincoln 11-0 but falling to Urbandale 7-4. The Indians got a pair of wins from Audra Dowler and #1 singles, with the pairing of Keely Greubel/Brynn Bishop and Dowler/Ceris Askelson all got wins over Urbandale and Lincoln, while Emily Allen, Zoey Belt, Greubel, Bishop, and Askelson got wins in singles over Lincoln, joined by the duos of Allen/Lauren Danielson, Belt/Paige Dahl, and Addie Wangler/Hailey Werderman. The Indians host Oskaloosa this afternoon.
