Pleasantville Fine Arts will be hosting their annual showcase this Saturday at the Pleasantville High School Event Center.
There is no cost to attend the showcase and doors for the event will open at 5:30 pm, before the program begins at 6 pm. A silent auction will run throughout the event and a live auction will take place during the showcase, with proceeds helping support the Fine Arts Program at Pleasantville. Junior Dawson Schrader, who is one of the MC’s for the showcase, says those attending the event will see a variety of performances from several students in the Fine Arts Program.
“Some of the acts can include some solo voice, prose, musical theater, improv, some piano, a short film, some acting, a flute solo, and a couple of comedy sketches. There will also be some live artists working on painting artwork throughout the show, and some finished artwork from arts students on display.”
