Four Pleasantville athletic teams were in action on Tuesday.
Pleasantville Boys and Girls Golf Compete at Winterset
The Pleasantville girls and boys golf teams competed at a conference triangular in Winterset on Tuesday.
The Trojans competed alongside Van Meter and Des Moines Christian. The Pleasantville boys finished second with a team score of 170 in the nine hole event. Brayden Kennedy and Kayne Brent had the low scores for the Trojans both shooting a 41. Lincoln Card shot 43, Lukas Klootwyk shot 45, Easton Cox and Jaxx Lovell both shot 48.
The Pleasantville girls finished third with a team score of 222. Chloe Rankin had the low score for the Trojans shooting a 52. Emily Roe shot a 55, Leah Adreon shot 57, DeLaney Harvey shot, 58, and Joelle Johnson shot 59.
The Pleasantville boys will be back in action Thursday at Woodward, and the girls will also be back in action Thursday at home.
Pleasantville Boys and Girls Track and Field Teams Competed at Pella Christian
The Pleasantville boys and girls track and field teams competed at Pella Christian on Tuesday.
The Trojan boys finished fourth overall with 107 team points. Braylon Bingham took first place in the high jump while Caleb Cook finished second in the 400 meter dash. The Trojan girls placed sixth with 38 team points. Lillian Mason placed second in the long jump and Allison VanEllen placed third in the shot put. The Trojan boys will be back in action on Thursday at Saydel and the girls will also be back in action on Thursday at Central Decatur.
