Panther Relays Take Place In Knoxville Today

It is a busy day for Knoxville Sports and Randy Wilson Track will be the centerpiece as the Annual Panther Relays take place. Knoxville will welcome Pella Christian, Belmond-Klemme, Des Moines North, Indianola, Marshalltown, Mount Ayr, and Woodward-Granger in the boys meet while the girls will host Pella, Pella Christian, Des Moines Christian, Indianola, Mount Ayr, Ottumwa, and PCM. Panthers Girls Coach Michael Splavec tells KNIA/KRLS Sports this is a chance to have a home meet and go through their routines without getting on a bus.

Splavec: “Bringing in some really good competition to see where we stack up against. We want to take home medals and score some points, but the most important thing is just competing and seeing how we compete in meets moving forward.”

Field events are set to get underway at 4:15.

Panther Tennis Squads Take On Clarke Today

Both Panthers boys and girls tennis Squads are taking on South Central Conference opponents today. The girls host Clarke while the boys are on the road. Both teams won their conference openers last week over Centerville.

Knoxville Girls Golf Heads To Moravia

It is another day on the links for the Knoxville Girls Golf Squad as the Panthers will head south again, this time to Moravia to battle the MoHawks and Albia in a triangular at Honey Creek Resort. The Panthers finished in 3rd place at the Centerville Invitational on Tuesday with Faith Roozeboom shooting an 18 hole career best 79 for medallist honors.

Knoxville Boys Soccer Battles Bondurant-Farrar

The Knoxville Boys Soccer Squad continues its schedule of playing tougher competition to start off the season. The Panthers will take on Bondurant-Farrar. Knoxville defeated Des Moines Christian on Tuesday and stand at 2-3. The Blue Jays are 3-2 and have defeated Des Moines Lincoln, Carroll and Nevada.
