The Pella Opera House is once again offering a wide range of shows during Tulip Time in Pella. 

Returning to the Opera House are The Reluctant Pioneer (daily at 10 am), Tiptoe Thru the Tulips on the Barton Theatre Organ (Saturday at 11 am), and the Matt Barber Experience (Thursday and Friday at 4 pm). The Martini Huis will also be returning on the second floor from 1:30-7:30 pm daily and a historic photo display will be open in the Great Hall from 1-5:30 pm each day of Tulip Time. Executive Director Cyndi Atkins says that new this year, Associate Director of the Opera House Jara Johnson will perform for their final show during Tulip Time at 4 pm on Saturday, May 4th.

“Jara is an immensely talented singer and songwriter, she lived in Nashville for a number of years, wrote songs there and performed there. We’ve been talking about her performance and I can’t wait. We’ve been describing it as, she’ll be singing the songs she wrote and the songs she wished she would have written, so it will be a great performance.”
