Pella Girls Golf Team Wins Marion County Quad
Pella defeated Knoxville 192-219 among a girls golf field that featured four local teams at the Pella Golf and Country Club Monday. PCM and Pleasantville also competed but did not have a full team score. Karsyn Lyons was meet medalist with a 43, followed by Emerson Lee (49), Sophia Reynolds (50), and Moriah Reynolds (50). Pella is next in action Thursday in Oskaloosa.

Pella Boys Track and Field 2nd at Norwalk
Fresh off of a busy Saturday at the Jim Duncan Invitational, the Pella boys track and field team headed west to Norwalk to face a field of nine total central Iowa schools, placing second with 116 team points.

Hanson King continued his mid-season dominance, hitting a personal best 58-9 toss in the shot put, which now ranks as the best in Iowa. King also claimed first in the discus with another strong toss at 178-05.5. The Dutch also had event wins from:

Dutch Girls 2nd at Bondurant-Farrar Track and Field Invitational
Despite a loaded day at Jim Duncan, the Pella girls track and field team also turned in several season bests, placing 2nd at the Bondurant-Farrar Invitational Monday. Among the athletes with season best performances were the shuttle hurdle relay (Kaylee Dingeman, Emmilyn Riddick, Cora Ebelheiser, Abbie Brand – 1:16.11), Lizzie Neumann in the 400, Maggie Thompson in the shot put, and Raegan Snieder and Autumn Blink in the 1500 meters. Pella had event wins from:

3000 Meters – Marissa Ferebee – 10:43.01
Distance Medley (Avery Parks, Chloe Punt, Kyla Barnes, Raegan Snieder) – 4:30.83
