It was all green and white in a pair of conference soccer matches Tuesday, as the #3 in 2A Pella girls defeated Indianola 9-3, and the Dutch boys did the same at home 6-1.

At home, the Dutch spread the scoring around and throughout the match, with tallies by Teddy Apostolopoulos, Austin Bone, Tyson Barnes, Isaac Kalkwarf, Max Lauman, and Aren Hellbusch. The senior leaders of the team will be featured on Today’s Lely Radio Sports Page. Indianola had their lone goal scored by Hunter Chittenden.

Pella improves to 3-5 overall and heads to Ottumwa Thursday; the Indians are now 3-7 and next travel to DCG Thursday.

It was the Abby Warner show at Indianola’s home stadium, as the multiple-time first team All-State Honoree scored seven of the team’s nine marks. Bri Shannon and Lizzie Neumann also added goals. Remy Sivertsen and Rylee Burns each scored for the Indians.

Pella’s girls are up to 5-2 overall, Indianola drops to 3-5; the Dutch are off until they host Newton Tuesday, while the Indians hit the road to North Polk on Thursday.
