Multiple camping sites around Marion County have reopened for the season.

The campgrounds at Marion County Park and at Roberts Creek Park East and West opened back up Friday, April 12th, in addition to portions of Cordova Park that were closed during the winter months. Three of the campgrounds at Lake Red Rock managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reopened on Thursday, including Howell Station Campground, Fifield, and South Overlook. Four more campgrounds managed by the Corps of Engineers are scheduled to reopen on Thursday, April 25th, including Wallashuck, North Overlook, Whitebreast and Ivans.
