The Knoxville Raceway annouhced on Friday that Saturday’s 71st Season Opener has been cancelled due to the predicted cold temperatures. Highs were only predicted in the 50s and lows in the 30s. The raceway is sert to host the World of Outlaws Nos Energy Drink Sprint Cars next Friday and Saturday. Practice night for this Friday is still on from 6:00-8:00pm for all sprint car classes. KNIA will have live coverage of all sprint car from the Knoxville Raceway starting with Live Track Side at 5:00 and Race Nights Live at 7:00.
