The 2024 race season at the Knoxville Raceway will be delayed a week after tonight’s races were canceled due to cold temperatures, but the World of Outlaws will be in town for a two-day show next weekend.
A practice night was still held Friday at the Knoxville Raceway. There are still 28 scheduled racing dates at the Knoxville Raceway during the 2024 season, starting next week, and running until September 21st. Some major dates on this year’s schedule include World of Outlaws shows on April 26th, 27th, June 14th, and June 15th, the Mid-Season Championship and Raceway Hall of Fame induction on July 6th, the 360 Knoxville Nationals on August 1st-3rd, the Nos Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals on August 7th-10th, and the Late Model Nationals September 19th-21st. Knoxville Raceway General Manager Jason Reed encourages everyone to come out to the races this season, especially if you’ve never been before. Reed says it’s a great family show.
“It’s just a good event. You learn if you start meeting the people that everyone here just treats you like family.”
A large majority of all race nights have three different sprint car divisions racing including pro sprints, 360’s, and 410’s. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online or at the track on race nights, but certain events like the Knoxville Nationals will have limited availability.
