Pella Christian senior Dane Geetings signed his national letter of intent to continue his academic and basketball careers at Northwestern College in Orange City on Friday.

This past winter for the Eagles, Geetings averaged a team high 14.3 points per game, while adding 3.2 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 steals a contest. As a junior, Dane posted 10.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. Over the course of his career at Pella Christian, Geetings recorded 620 points, 138 rebounds, 135 assists, and 83 steals in 53 games played. The senior was also a part of two Eagles teams that reached the State Tournament semifinals. Over his three years with Pella Christian’s varsity squad, the Eagles posted an overall record of 53-23.

Geetings will join a Northwestern team that went 25-8 overall last season and won the Great Plains Athletic Conference with a 15-5 mark.
