52 cars took to the Knoxville Raceway on Friday for Practice Night as drivers were allowed to run several hot lap sessions. Unofficially the quickest lap of the night in the 410s was Kelby Watt at 14.986 seconds. Cam Martin ran a lap of 15.816 seconds the 360s, while the Pro Sprints were led unofficially by Chase Young with a lap of 17.358. A reminder that tonight’s scheduled 71st season opener has been canceled due to predicted cold temperatures. The raceway will welcome the World of Outlaws Nos Energy Drink Sprint Cars next Friday and Saturday for the Premier Chevy Dealers Clash. Pro Sprints will run on Friday and 360s will run on Saturday for their weekly shows. KNIA will have live coverage next week both nights starting with Live Track Side at 5:00 and Race Nights Live at 7:00.
