The Pella Marching Dutch are inviting alumni to celebrate the life of their longtime legendary director. The program is hosting an alumni band “experience” for the Saturday afternoon parade at Tulip Time to honor Guy Blair. The band invites members from every class represented from Blair’s time (1973-2005) and beyond, including those who were impacted by Guy through a student teaching experience or mentorship program. Every class has been represented based on online sign-ups, with more than 200 members expected to follow the current 200+ member ensemble.

There is no need to bring an instrument, as they want to show a visual representation of the incredible impact Blair has had. Those wanting to participate should report to the corner of Independence and Broadway by 2:00 on Saturday, May 4th to be checked in and grouped by class. Those attending are asked to wear any Pella Dutch gear they may have or black, green, or white.

Those participating should fill out the form below so the Marching Dutch can communicate any last minute changes and make sure they have appropriate representation from each class.
