Heritage Acting Troupe will be presenting Sherlock Holmes and the First Baker Street Irregular in Knoxville on Friday and Saturday.

Heritage Acting Troupe is a homeschool drama group that will be putting on the classic Sherlock Holmes story at New Journey Church. The play is under the direction of Jodi Brown, and assistant director Sandy Luke with Angie Gentry and Lois McWilliams. The group hopes this play will leave the audience on the edge of their seat as Sherlock Holmes comes to life. The show will be at 7:00 pm on Friday, and 2:00pm and 6:00 pm on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased from a cast member or online at www.HeritageHomeEducators.com. Tickets will also be available at the door, but will be in limited quantity. Angie Gentry hopes the community comes out to see the production.

“It’s a fun storyline. The play is fully costumed with a completed set, so it’s fun to watch. The kids have put in a lot of work. They started practicing clear back in January.”

Tickets are $7 for adults, $3 for students K-12, and children 4 and under are free. Hear more from Gentry on an upcoming Let’s Talk Knoxville.
