The Pleasantville girls and boys track and field teams were in action on Monday.

Pleasantville Boys Track and Field Team Finishes Fourth at Des Moines Christian

The Pleasantville boys track and field team finished fourth at Des Moines Christian on Monday.

The Trojans scored 101 team points and competed alongside eight other teams. Caleb Cook took first in the 200 meter, the 4X100 meter relay took first, Trent Jolly took second in the 110 hurdles, Blake Rowson took second in the 400 meter, and the shuttle hurdle relay and distance medley placed second. Pleasantville Girls Track and Field Team Finishes Fifth at PCM

The Pleasantville girls track and field team finished fifth at the PCM Girls Invite on Monday.

The Trojans scored 66 team points competing alongside seven other schools. The shuttle hurdle relay placed first while the 4X100 meter relay placed second. Allison VanEllen placed second in the shot put while Maci Martin placed third, Lilian Mason placed third in the 100 meter hurdles, and Emmy Hiemstra placed third in the discus.
