With their weeks remaining at school drawing close to a handful, on Wednesday morning, the Class of 2024 at Pella High School gave back to the community they’ve called home.

The annual Senior Service Day included a variety of projects to support the City of Pella Community Services Department, Pella Historical Museums, local churches, and other organizations ahead of the upcoming Tulip Time celebration.

The following students shared their thoughts about the experience, Rachel Melvin and Lauren Deschadis:
