With multiple rounds of severe weather possible over the weekend, Warren County Emergency Management is stressing having a conversation with kids and families regarding a plan in the event of a tornado or storm damage. Warren County Emergency Management Coordinator Troy Bass tells KNIA News there are many resources you can use to help make a plan for any situation, whether a natural disaster or severe weather event, a power outage, or accident.
“You can go to the FEMA website, or go on to the Iowa Homeland Security Emergency Management section for online tips if you are able to go on the internet. If not, you can always stop by the office and we can always help you with planning either with brochures or just sitting down and visiting for a bit.”
