The 2024 Knoxville Youth Activity Alliance Little Panther Relays will take place on Saturday. 

This is the 19th annual year of the youth track and field event, and it is open to all kids across Iowa to compete in four different age groups. The meet starts at 9:00 am and the youth will compete alongside others who are in the same age group. There are 12 different events and kids will have the choice of three different events they would like to compete in. Registration is $20 and the event will accept same day registration. Jess Ramaeker with the Knoxville Youth Activity Alliance says this is a great community event.

“I don’t think we’ve ever had anyone leave and not have a really great time. You can watch the kids run around with their friends all morning. It’s just a great experience and a fun morning. Hopefully the weather is great. We’ve had really great weather the last few years. It’s just a great community event.”

Trophies are given out for first place at each event, and medals are given out for 2nd-6th place of each event. Hear more about the Little Panther Relays on Today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
