The Knoxville City Council met in a special session on Monday.
The meeting started with a public hearing regarding voluntary annexation into the City of Knoxville, followed by approval of the annexation. The board then approved a workhouse housing tax application to be submitted for a housing project in Knoxville. The annexation and tax application are both relating to a potential new Kading development. A couple of citizens gave public comments at the meeting who currently live on Roche St., and Kading said they would take into consideration the comments while continuing to plan the project.
Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for further updates as this potential project progresses.
