The Knoxville School Board met in a special session on Monday.

At the meeting, the board approved the revised teacher salary schedule and revised teacher assignment contracts. This is due to a recent change by the legislator which increased the starting wage for new teachers and teachers who have 12 years of experience. The meeting concluded with the board approving a softball fundraiser and the final change order for the former middle school demolition project.
